What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves being in the environment of sports. He loves to become a better ball player day in and day out every day. He loves to make other people better and being surrounded by teammates. He loves to put in the extra work that many people can not see. Even if that means he can’t have as much free time. He loves to go out of town and spending time with teammates after winning some ball games as well.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His favorite inspiration on the field is definitely Ronald Acuna Jr. He tries to play the game just like him and have fun like Acuna. Off the field is his sister. His sister gives everybody joy and he believes that his sister makes him a better person. He is able to learn how to stay calm and relaxed just like sister. When he’s playing the game in intense moments his sister helped him slow down and just go out there and do what he does best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

When he was 11 he tried joining the all-star team but came up short of the list. He was heart broken. But he didn’t let that stop him. He worked all offseason getting into better shape and working on becoming a better baseball player. The next year he tried out for the 12u all star team and made it! Not just that, in the state tournament. In his first game he had a walk off single to seal the game. Nothing made me more proud then seeing him succeed after all of those long, hard hours of work.
