What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He absolutely loves everything about football! The game both tackle & flag has his heart since just 4yrs old! He’s been QB1 since age 5 playing with 6u & at the age of 6 he was playing up with 8u being the youngest on the team. He plays and trains all year long doing tackle football during season and flag since it’s all year round when tackle season is out.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His answer.. Mom & Dad because they believe in me and show me that even on the hardest days to keep grinding because all that hard work pays off even when no one’s looking. My cousin Kobe Garcia who now plays college ball also inspires me. He’s watched his cousins basketball journey along with all the work he puts in both academics and on the court and sees where heart, education, commitment, and self discipline will take you.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment is when he attended QBimpact Camp hosted by Coach Tom George of QBimpact. After two days of camp he was called up. They gave him recognition on how he was a positive impact to the coaches & how his performance, positivity, & motivation he brought to camp made him INFECTIOUS! Seeing him being the only one called up & hearing how he inspired & touched the camp was heartwarming & rewarding as a reminder that his hard work & attitude doesn’t only benefit him but others around him!
