Kai explained that his mom inspires him the most. He explained that no matter what sacrifices she has to make she is willing to do it so he can be the best. My mom gets me all the extra help I need to be a better baseball player even though I have younger siblings. My mom works 14-15 hour days and still makes it to almost all of my games. Even if she is tired she will still go in the yard and throw the baseball with me.
The moment that makes me the proudest is when they lost to the Tarpons. Kai still displayed great sportsmanship. They were beat pretty bad 13-2. Kai still held his head up! They were able to play the Tarpons again and almost beat them 7-9. Even though the team lost again and didn’t advance in the tournament, which ended their season, he explained how blessed he was to meet such a great group of teammates that he can call friends.
