What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My son loves football because it brings out the best in him. He thrives on the energy of the game from the tackles to the touchdowns, the grind of practice, and the thrill of game day. He loves being part of a brotherhood where they have each other’s back. Football has taught him discipline, leadership, and how to push through when things get tough. But what he loves most is stepping onto that field, knowing he’s part of something bigger than himself and giving it everything he’s got.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On the field, my son is inspired by us being there and cheering from the stands. Our support gives him that extra boost to play harder, run faster, and never give up. Off the field, his biggest inspiration is his dad…the man he looks up to most. Watching his dad’s hard work, strength, and commitment pushes him to stay focused, be respectful, and give 100% in everything he does. Whether it’s a big game or everyday life, those voices and values are what keep him going and we love it.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments in his football journey was during his very first year playing. He got his first sack, and instead of celebrating with just the team, he immediately turned to the stands to find us. That look on his face full of pride, joy, and connection said it all.In that moment, I knew football wasn’t just a sport to him; it was a passion, and we are all a part of it. Seeing him grow and find confidence through the game has been one of the greatest joys of being his parents
