The thrill of it all feeling as if I he has a place and that he concord. The excitement of his family first and then the crowd of course. Seeing and feeling people being proud of him and hearing that kids younger than him look up to him.
His great grandmother who has passed on, she showed up to all his games with a T-shirt with his number and picture on it. He could hear her over the crowd cheering him on. The hugs and encouragement she gave him before and after my games kept him going to this day.
