He loves learning the game, creating memories, and physically and just playing the game he loves. He is unbelievably determined 100% of the time and giving up is not in his vocabulary. He lives, breathes, eat baseball and grinds every chance he gets.
I’d like to say his coach inspires him on the field because his coach enforces the important factors such as development of the game, how to be a good teammate and have a good attitude on and off the field, and give effort. Who inspires him off the field is his mom; she doesn’t coddle his feelings, but gives him positivity to uplift his own criticism on himself.
What makes me proud is when another player on the opposing team gets hurt, he ensures their wellbeing before continuing the game. He’s a great player with great skills, but his attitude towards the game and teammates alongside with opponent players, is what makes me most proud!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
