Kasen loves being able learn and grow from all the coaches he’s had. Every season he’s challenged with a new position or new teammates and being able to adapt, overcome and grow his confidence, athleticism, and knowledge of the game gives him the biggest thrill.
Kasen’s little brother is probably his biggest inspiration. The desire to be the best he can be because little brother watches his every move and has grown to love the game too. He has a passion for teaching him and showing him the fundamentals in hopes to create a “little baller” as he puts it.
Kasen threw his 3rd strike in the last inning of a game and ended it on top by getting their last out to win the game. He immediately went over and told the opposing rival good game and to shake it off. It reminded me that being a great athlete isn’t just about talent, but about lifting others up.
