Winning! He feels good when he takes home a gold medal or trophy. Along with wrestling, he also plays flag football. His flag football team was undefeated last season. He plays the wide receiver position and scored over 20 touchdowns. He’s a standout on his wrestling team, Glasgow Wrestling Academy, taking home no less than second place in each tournament this year. He has won over 65 medals throughout the years from age 5 to age 12.
He is inspired by his dad. His dad pushes him to greatness! He never lets him slack off. His dad was a wrestler in high school and teaches him to stay disciplined throughout the entire year…no days off!
He has great determination! When he was 6 years old, he went to an AAU tournament in Tennessee. Due to the difference in age groupings, he had to wrestle older kids than he was used to in Georgia. No one expected him to win a medal at this tournament, but he ended up getting 4th place! He was so surprised and this victory pushed him to go even harder the next few years! It was definitely a proud moment!
