What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves getting to be part of a team and playing sports with his friends. He loves being able to move and run. He loves soccer and basketball. After his 3rd spine surgery, he knows how blessed he is to be able to move so well. And he's always running or practicing.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His Dad inspires him. His Dad is a congenital heart patient. And has also had multiple surgeries. And he also played sports. His Dad practices with him all the time and inspires him to be brave and strong.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Kayden is on a competition soccer team. The first game back for the spring season was 7 weeks after his 3rd spine surgery to put metal rods infused on his spine. He scored the first goal of the game! It was such a blessing. He is a walking miracle!
