What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Softball lets KayLee step away from the medical side of her life and be able to push herself and grind at doing what she loves..softball.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

KayLee’s inspiration is her family. Not just her blood family but teammates, coaches, currently and of the past. She loves the game, the atmosphere and still stays in contact with every coach and teammate that she has had and currently has. They inspire her to continue being herself and doing better than she was the day before.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The proudest moment was when I was in a hitting slump, and I worked hard and kept grinding and ended up hitting not just one out of the park homer..but two in the same game! I don’t think I’ve ever smiled that much that my face was literally hurting.
