Join the CompetitionKendra loves that she’s in control of her own destiny. She realizes that the only way she will be successful is through hard work. She loves seeing the her hard work pay off. With each event she puts a tremendous amount of practice time and research into making improvements, she has truly become a student of the sport.
Linnea Neureuther has been a friend and mentor to Kendra throughout her Track and Field career. Her work ethic and friendship have made a great impression on Kendra. Linnea set multiple school records that Kendra strives to approach. Kendra hopes to follow in Linnea’s footsteps as State and Federation Champion. I never heard Kendra complain about having to go to practice because Linnea always made it fun and interesting.
Our proudest moment was probably Junior Olympics 2025 when Kendra showed a tremendous amount of perseverance. She was competing in the Heptathlon and was struggling in events she usually excels in, but she never gave up and she never gave in. She threw javelin, an implement she’s only touched a handful of times, for a PR of about 25’ (94’1”).Then showed more grit and heart running a solid 800 in 124 degree heat on the track. It brought tears to our eyes, we gained an even greater respect for her.
