Kendrick just enjoys being on the court. He's played basketball since he was 3 years old. He played with his older brother and now teaches and passes down the game to his younger siblings. The thing he loves most about the sport is the team aspect of the game. He plays and makes everyone on the court better players. He encourages his teammates and uplifts them. He is a selfless player.
His mother and his family inspire him off the court. He has a great support system that have always showed up and encouraged him throughout the years. He has a family that always pushes him to be his best and to never give up. His coaches, his family, his teammates, and his friends continue to support him and that is an inspiration to him. He wants to be great for them! He is also inspired by the younger kids that look up to him as a role-model in the community.
Although he has had multiple accomplishments and has won several things one moment in his athletic journey that made me the proudest was during a loss. He lost in semi-state during his freshman year and he was very supportive and empathetic to the Seniors who would be leaving that year. He uplifted them and made it his goal to come back better and stronger the next year FOR THEM. His sophomore year he had a phenomenal year working towards state once again.
