You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Kennedy loves the competition of softball and the chance to grow through every challenge. But what she loves most is being part of a team—cheering for others and giving her all. She plays with joy, pride, and purpose. For her, it’s not just about winning—it’s about the friendships, the journey, and always showing up for the people beside her.
Kennedy is inspired by her pitching coach, Olympic medalist Monica Abbott. Monica pushes her to grow, gives thoughtful advice, and leads by example through hard work and humility. Seeing someone who’s reached the highest level still give back so generously motivates Kennedy to dream big, stay focused, and always keep learning.
I’m proudest of Kennedy every time she shows up and gives 100%, win or lose. She leads with effort, heart, and grit. She makes incredible plays in the field—just when I think she can’t possibly get to a ball, she does, and makes it look effortless. It’s not just her talent, but her consistency and drive that impress me most.
