What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What does my son love the most about baseball? It’s the feeling of stepping onto the field — where everything else fades and it’s just him, the game, and his love for it. It’s the sound of the ball hitting the glove, the crack of the bat, and the thrill of stealing a base. He loves the grind — the extra reps, the dirty uniforms, and the late nights at the cages. But more than anything, he loves the brotherhood. The dugout laughs, the high-fives, the unspoken trust between teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

It’s Jordan — the one who showed him what hard work, heart, and hustle look like. The one heading to Arkansas Razorbacks Baseball, proving that dreams are worth chasing if you’re willing to grind for them. Kenton has looked up to him not just for his talent, but for his leadership, drive, and the example he sets. And of course, it’s his family — the ones in the stands, the ones behind the scenes, the ones cheering the loudest whether it’s a win or a loss. Every swing, every step, every moment.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Kenton winning Overall MVP of the Youth Baseball Network is the proudest moment… Because it’s not just about one weekend or one tournament — it’s about every ounce of effort he’s put in when no one was watching. It’s the hours at the cages, the sore arms, the setbacks he pushed through, and the heart he brings to the game every single time. This MVP title isn’t just a trophy — it’s a reflection of his passion, leadership, and the respect he’s earned from coaches, teammates, and competitors.
