What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Kenzo loves the competitive nature of playing sports. He embraces his team and strives to be a strong player to help the team always. Even during losses, he looks for how to play smarter and keep going on to the next sports competition.


Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kenzo’s coaches at the Cardinal Hayes Catholic High School located in the Bronx, NY inspire him. They support him, teach him and help him to grow in his athletic and academic journey. Coaches Edmond Wilson and CJ O’Neill are his mentors and coaches.


What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment in Kenzo’s athletic journey is when he persevered through a concussion. He took time to heal, rehab and train again and returned to the sport that he truly loves ( football) without holding back.
