The structured environment that has provided the platform for my personal growth, both on and off the field. I have fostered discipline, responsibility and respect to help me conquer life. Over the years, my teammates have become family for me and my mom.
My mom: she’s been my constant support and guidance since I began playing sports at age 5. She has changed jobs multiple times to accommodate my needs and to ensure she has never missed a game, match or meet. She’s taught me and I’ve witnessed how to face adversity. I want to prove to her that I can go and do great things because of everything I’ve learned from her. I want to be able to give back to her with every sacrifice she’s ever made to help me complete this journey.
