He always loved football—but losing both of our parents made him go even harder. The game became his outlet, his focus, and his drive. Every time he step on that field, he carry their memory with him. Football helps jim push through the pain and prove that no matter what he has been through, he’s built for this.
Our dad inspired his love for football—he was his first coach, always pushing him. After losing him, my older brother stepped in and kept him going when he wanted to give up. They both kept that fire in him alive. Losing our mom made him even hungrier. He plays for all of them now—on and off the field.
One moment that makes me proudest is his strength to never give up. At just 16, life hit him hard, but he never stopped. No matter what came his way, he kept pushing—with faith, heart, and fight. He doesn’t just bounce back—he rises every time, stronger than before.
