My proudest moment with Kevin was when he proved just how strong he really is. A coach once called him the weakest link. He was only 8 years old, but instead of letting it break him, we used it to fuel the fire. I made sure he put in the work—and he did. Since then, Kevin has been named an All-Star every season. That comment didn’t tear him down—it built him into the player he is today.
