What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves that track is an individual sport, that gives back as much as she puts in. And the adrenaline that goes into each race.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Two people who have inspired me are my teammates Addy Martin and Presley Speelmon. They are amazing athletes, but always humble. Willing to help out a fellow athlete to help them be the best they can be on and off the field.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My most proud athletic moment would have to be from this past track season. I set a goal for myself to run the 400 meter in 58 seconds. When I made it to state, I did just that the finish line time was 58.99, but the official time ended up being 59.03. To me I achieved my goal and still have another season of high school to set and break even higher goals.
