King loves the most in hockey is being the goalie — the last line of defence. I love the pressure, the action, and the feeling when I stop a big shot. It’s intense, I always want to do better, and every game is a chance to prove myself. My pads are like my armor, and when I’m in net, I feel strong, focused, and ready for anything.
My biggest inspiration on and off the ice is my mom/ dad. They work super hard, help me with everything — even my hockey business — and are always there cheering me on. They show me what it means to never give up. On the ice, I look up to goalies like Carey Price and Joseph Woll. I love how calm they are, how focused they stay under pressure, and how they make the hardest saves look easy. Watching them makes me want to be better every time.
What makes me the proudest isn’t just how talented Kingston is as a goalie — it’s who he is becoming because of hockey. I’ve watched him show courage, discipline, leadership, and heart far beyond his years. He faces pressure with grace, stays humble in his wins, and learns from his losses. But most of all, I’m proud of how much joy he brings to the game and to the people around him. Whether he’s making highlight-reel saves, cheering on his teammates, he gives it his all every time.
