Kinley loves being with her teammates and helping her team win. Whether that be in the dugout or on the field. While working her way back from surgery she became one of the best cheerleaders for her team. This was a different role and it was difficult for a 10 year old to watch her team play while sitting in the dugout. But she always had a great attitude and lifted her teammates up when they were down.
Karlyn Pickens has inspired Kinley to be herself and break the mold. Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not good enough. You have to keep pushing and find a way to be successful.
In her last 10u tournament she hit a home run and the pitcher was upset. After the game Kinley went over and gave her a hug and some words of encouragement. She told her she knew how it felt and that she was doing an amazing job.
