Receive Text UpdatesPlaying football gives him an opportunity to show off his strengths and dedication to the game. When Cameron is on the field he feels a sense of excitement and feels as though he can accomplish anything in this world. Football is his safe space to be who he is and do what he loves.
Cameron doesn't realize it, but he is my inspiration and has the strength that I could only dream of. Cameron's inspiration is his big brother who pushes him to be his best. Cameron watches his brother on the field and learns from him. Other inspirational players who inspire him are Randy Moss and Kam Chancellor. Cameron studies them and wants to be impactful like them from a football perspective. He is also intrigued by what they are doing in in their communities.
One moment that me the proudest is when Cameron was on the field and began to get down on himself because he dropped a pass. His father called him over and said "YOU got this believe in yourself and make it happen". Cameron went back on the field and got a pick 6. They lost the game by 2 points, but the point is he played his heart out until the last second always giving 100% effort.
