Kiyel loves the way basketball pushes him to be his best on and off the court. He thrives on the competition, the brotherhood, and the chance to inspire other kids to chase their dreams. Every game is a new opportunity to grow, lead, and leave it all on the court.
Kiyel is inspired by God for blessing him with his gifts and strength to chase his dreams. He also looks up to Steph Curry for the way he leads with faith, stays humble, and works hard to be great on and off the court. Kiyel admires how Steph inspires kids to believe in themselves and always give God the glory.
One moment that made me most proud was when Kiyel overcame a tough injury and worked harder than ever to come back stronger. Seeing his dedication, resilience, and positive attitude through that challenge showed me how committed he is to his goals and how much heart he has as an athlete and a person. That moment proved his true character both on and off the court.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
