What she love most about playing the sport is the feeling she gets every time she steps on the field—the excitement, the energy, and the chance to give it her all. She loves being part of a team, working hard together, and supporting each other through every win and loss. The sport pushes her to be stronger, faster, and better, and it teaches her to never give up. It’s where she feels the most confident, the most challenged, and the most herself.
The person who inspires her on and off the field is Sis Bates. She plays with so much heart, hustle, and love for the game. Her defense is incredible—she makes the toughest plays look easy because she never stops grinding. But what inspires me most is how humble, kind, and encouraging she is to others. Sis shows that you can be fierce and competitive while still lifting people up. She wants to lead like she does.
The moment that makes me most proud of her athletic journey is when she made the All-Star team. Throughout the entire All-Star season, she absolutely rocked it on defense—making big plays look effortless—and her at-bats were nothing short of spectacular. She showed up with confidence, heart, and focus every single game. Watching her shine on that level was unforgettable.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
