My parents inspire me off the field. Patrick Mahomes inspires me on the field. My parents motivate me, invest in me, believe in me, and push me to my full potential to be the best version of myself every day. Mahomes on the other hand, watching him lead his team through the highs & lows of the game throughout each season, always remaining poised and decisive is admirable. He knows exactly what he wants to accomplish on the field. I emulate and embody those traits, and look up to him.
Being an athlete isn’t just about performing on the field, it’s about the leadership & character you display when no one is watching. Kobe received an award @ his 8th gr graduation for his ability to include, uplift, encourage, and selflessly lead amongst his peers. The only boy chosen in the school. A tremendous honor & privilege. We couldn’t be more proud as parents.
