Thank you for generously supporting Kohen in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
What Kohen loves most about his sport is the thrill of pushing himself beyond his limits and the excitement of competing alongside great athletes. He thrives on the challenge and the drive it takes to improve. Traveling with his team makes the journey even more special, sharing wins, learning from losses, and building memories together. For Kohen, every race is more than competition; it’s passion, purpose, and connection.
Kohen is inspired by his coach, Saul Mendoza, who pushes him to be his best and never give up. His teammates motivate him daily with their support and shared passion. He also looks up to racers he’s admired for years—Daniel Romanchuk, Aaron Pike, Brian Seaman, and Even Correll—for their strength, speed, and determination on and off the track. Their journeys remind him of what’s possible.
The proudest moment in Kohen’s athlete journey was this summer when he raced in a heat alongside the Paralympians he’s looked up to for years. Sharing the track with athletes like Daniel Romanchuk, Aaron Pike, Brian Seaman, and Even Correl.
