Kolton loves baseball. He loves all sports, but his heart is with baseball. It connects him to his late dad and their shared passion since he could walk. He gives 100% on and off the field, studies the rules and regulations for the different teams he's on, and simply finds joy in seeing his whole team grow and succeed together.
His late father inspires him most, as baseball was their special bond and keeps his memory alive. He also looks up to his coaches and instructors for pushing him to improve, work hard, and play with integrity and heart. He also has a support system with his siblings and knows they will always be there for him.
When he hit his first home run on Father’s Day weekend in his final rec season. He rounded the bases in tears, looked to the sky for his dad, then ran straight to me crying, saying he loved me. It was truly unforgettable. It was one of those moments that you will never forget and makes all the time we spend traveling, waiting, and supporting totally worth it.
