Kolton spends countless hours practicing, playing, and learning about all sports. He excels in soccer, basketball, baseball, and hockey.

Kolton loves learning about the strategy of the game in order to beat opponents. He will spend hours mastering new skills and gets excited to teach other teammates on his team too. He loves not just celebrating himself and his team but other athletes successes within the game as well. He enjoys practices and team building just as much as the game itself. He especially loves making goals in hockey and soccer as well as saving when he is a goalie for each sport. He loves playing many positions too
Kolton’s mom inspires him on and off the field because of the countless nights spent working on new skills to get better at each sport. Jack Hughes inspires Kolton to continue to work hard at his hockey career and try new tricks in hockey games as well as grow out his hair like his. Kolton’s teammates also inspire him on the field as he wants to win for his team and not just for himself. It’s fun to win!
One moment in Kolton’s athletic journey that made me the proudest is when statistically he had the best baseball game over his teammates with two home runs and a triple and some great infield plays. After the game he did not win the MVP and he came up to me and said “I know stat wise I had the best game mom but I’m so happy for my teammate that got the MVP, he had a great catch for an out and he hasn’t gotten it yet this year”. Kolton’s a talented athlete but most importantly a great teammate.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
