You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Kooper loves most the friendships he has made along his journey of playing sports. He also likes the fact that he is good at any sport he attempts to play. He adapts pretty well after the first try or two.
Kooper says his biggest inspiration is God. Without God he doesn’t feel he would be who he is today or the athlete he is. He says he tries to leave everything on the field & pray before every game. He knows where his help comes from on & off the field.
One big moment that I remember most in Kooper’s sports years is his first year of rec baseball. He was new to it but adapted well & during his tournaments before the Championship, Kooper made a triple play which was pretty big for him. I’ll never forget that moment & the look on his coaches face because he just didn’t think a 9u kid who had never played ball before could make a triple play. Kooper was smiling ear to ear & me of course was in full mama mode crying because I was so proud of him.
