What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He is a left handed pitcher and plays first base. His last game he had 12 strikes outs and only 2 kids that hit off him. He is a team player and loves the sport.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

That would be his Dad who coaches him. We are his grandparents and have raised him since he was 2. Through our faith his Dad came back into his life 7 years ago and we all support him as a family.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

He always has a smile on his face and is very supportive of all his teammates and apposing teams. The fact that he was born without toes has never stopped him. He is a joy to be around and all the parents love and encourage him. He also plays football and is a right tackle. Most times he plays offence and defense. He is an inspiration to other young players. We couldn't be more proud.
