While having fun is what Korry loves most, he says, “I love that I have the opportunity to try my best every time I go out on the field or mat. I get to push myself and do hard things”.
“My coaches inspire me because they are always encouraging and pushing us to never give up. They also put a lot of hard work into our community - which is what I would like to do if I win”.
My proudest moment in Korry’s athletic journey was when he made a tag out at second— he helped the player up, made sure he was okay, patted him on the back, and genuinely told him ‘great job’. Despite Korry being competitive, his sportsmanship and kindness always shines through.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
