Receive Text UpdatesKristian’s love for running began at 8 when she asked, “Please let me run—I just love the way it makes me feel.” That passion has only grown. She’s competed in sprints, hurdles, relays, and jumps across school and summer track. Her dedication, joy, and determination continue to inspire us, and we’re so proud of the young athlete and person she’s becoming.
Kristian is inspired by trailblazing women like Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, Michelle Obama, and her sisters, Kolbi and Kaydon. Their grit, humility, and commitment to lifting others reflect who she is and who she’s becoming. She strives to follow their example—staying grounded, working hard, and inspiring others through both her character and performance.
At age 12, Kristian fell at the final hurdle in the 200mh at Junior Olympics 2023 . Despite the pain, she kept going—later placing top 8 in other events. She trained hard, returned in 2024 to win gold in the 200m hurdles and achieve a a new personal record in that event. Kristian was the only freshman to compete in the 6A TX State meet in the 100m hurdles, earning silver, setting a school record and ranking as top freshman in 100mh. Her resilience and determination make us incredibly proud.
