What I love most about baseball is being a catcher. I like being in on every play and getting to lead the team from behind the plate. One of my favorite moments was when I threw a kid out at first after a dropped third strike, it was awesome. I also love watching the Reds. Baseball is thinking fast, playing hard, and having fun with my team.
Coach Mershman and Coach Ritter. They encourage him to always be the best version of himself and to work hard to reach his goals.
We played a tough team this season and there was one kid that just cranked the ball out every at bat. Kyle was star struck by this player and even took the time to ask him how he got so good. Despite a tough loss, Kyle celebrated that boys athleticism. He’s a great kid with a heart made for the sport.
