Kylee has true passion for the game of soccer. She loves her teammates and experiencing all of the different aspects that come with being on a travel team. Playing soccer has been good for her mental and physical health. It has provided her with a community and lifelong friendships with not just her teammates but their families as well.
Her faith in God has provided her with strength and encouragement. She writes a different scripture on a wristband before every soccer game. Alex Morgan who is a great role model and encourages young athletes to work hard. Her mom, who she says inspires her because she’s a hard working woman and her biggest supporter. She works 2 jobs to help fund not only playing club soccer, but to create memorable experiences while traveling for it.
For me its seeing her be the best version of herself all the time. She displays a level of maturation that is rare which makes her a true leader gaining the respect of both her teammates and coaches. I'm also proud of the additional work she put in to make a full recovery after her knee surgery and how she continues to work hard on her on, with teammates and her trainers to improve her skills and get stronger.
