The diamond is his happy place. He loves to learn new things and about each position. He can play any position on the field. His favorite is pitching and learning to throw new pitches until he perfects it and is able to land it every time. He’s 12 years old and can land a slider almost every time he throws it.
I would say Ronald Acuna, Jr. and Spencer Strider. Watching the work the put in and how they excel inspires him to want to work harder so he himself can get to where they are.
He taught himself how to throw a curveball and a slider. He worked on it day and night until it was perfect. The slider is absolutely beautiful. Also, seeing him make diving plays at second base makes me so proud.
