You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Lacey loves hockey because it challenges her to grow and push her limits. She knows that hard work pays off and takes pride in giving it her all. Most of all, she loves being part of a team and is grateful for the friendships and opportunities the game brings.
Lacey looks up to Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey for their incredible work ethic, determination, and top-tier leadership. Inspired by their example, Lacey strives to be a strong, positive leader both on and off the ice. No matter the score, she leads with confidence, encourages her teammates, and always holds her head high.
One of my proudest moments was watching Lacey lift the gold trophy like it was the Stanley Cup, beaming with pride. She had just been chosen to represent her team after they won the championship game at the Caroline Ouellette "Celebration" Hockey Tournament. Her hard work, heart, and leadership truly shone that day.
