My mommy. She is my bestest friend. My biggest inspiration. No matter how much she may have been battling with having stage 4 cancer I never have to worry about whether or not she will be there to support me. She has given me all my strength, when I was going through all of my knee problems, some may have wondered how I recovered so fast. Well, look at who I have as my mom, and who helped and pushed me every step of the way.
In Feb of 2021 Laila dislocated her knee during dance. After her recovery and PT she dislocated it again, now requiring surgery. Pretty much full knee reconstruction in Nov 22’. We were told she may never dance again and that she would likely not come back more than 80%. Laila pushed herself in the gym and pool 2x a day for the 5 months prior and getting her body ready for a 8-10 month recovery. She pushed thru and bounced back in 4 months and was cleared at 100%!
