What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Laken loves the adrenaline rush every time the gate drops, the speed flying over jumps, and the thrill of battling bar-to-bar. He lives for the competition but also cherishes the friendships he’s made at the track. For him, motocross isn’t just a sport—it’s where he plays, learns, and feels most alive. Every ride is a new adventure with his buddies, and every race pushes him to be better, faster, and stronger.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Laken is inspired by his family, who support him at every race and teach him to work hard, stay humble, and never give up. He also looks up to Jett Lawrence—not just for his incredible skill on the bike, but because he stays true to his roots, values family, and always has fun. Jett shows that you can be a champion and still be kind, and that’s the kind of rider—and person—Laken strives to be every day.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments was when Laken lost a boot mid-race but refused to quit—riding to the finish with a bleeding foot. His grit was incredible, but what made us even prouder was that, win or lose, he still gave every rider a fist bump at the finish line. His sportsmanship, toughness, and heart set him apart.
