Lanae is youth Athlete of the Year because she dedicates herself and is willing to grow to become an overall outstanding player.

Lanae loves the competition and the feeling she gets from learning new plays and experiences. Lanae also loves connecting with new people and learning things from new players.
Lanae is from Baltimore as for a on court person she’s inspired by Angel Reese. Lanae old elementary school basketball court is named after her. Off court she’s inspired by her stepfather who’s also her coach, Demetrius.
Lanae was one of the four 6th graders to make her middle school basketball team first go round. Lanae also won her first championship this year with her recreation league Edreco with her team Storm.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
