What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Landon loves most about racing in the pool is the feeling of pushing his limits—knowing it’s just him, the water, and the clock. He thrives on the adrenaline of the start, the rhythm of his strokes, and the chase to beat his personal best. Racing gives him a sense of freedom, focus, and pride, and he sees each race as a chance to learn, grow, and prove to himself that his hard work is paying off. For Landon, it’s not just about winning—it’s about competing with heart and giving his all.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Landon is deeply inspired by his older brothers, who were national-level swimmers. Watching them train with intensity, stay disciplined through challenges, and compete at the highest levels has shown him what’s possible with hard work and heart. Their success doesn’t just motivate him to chase big goals—it sets a standard of excellence that he strives to live up to. They’ve taught him how to handle pressure with grace, how to stay humble in victory, and how to never give up when things get tough

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I am most proud of Landon during the time when his favorite coach stepped away. It was a tough transition—losing someone who believed in him and knew how to bring out his best. But instead of giving up or losing focus, Landon dug deep. He stayed committed, kept showing up, and worked through the frustration and uncertainty until he found another coach he could trust and grow with. Through it all, he never lost his love for the sport. That perseverance, that inner drive. That made me most proud.
