Landry loves playing all sports because it makes him feel like he has a purpose. It’s where he forgets what goes on around the world and just focuses on doing his absolute best. He loves being a part of a team, knowing people count on him and it pushes him to give his absolute best.
Dak Prescott inspires Landry on and off the field. On the field Dak leads with calm confidence and rallies teammates through wins and losses. Off the field Dak is a true hero. He champions mental health and cancer causes through his foundation and social campaigns. Landry sees in Dak that true strength that isn’t just talent, it’s heart, resilience, and caring for others.
In 2024, Landry was care-flighted to UAB with undiagnosed asthma and spent a week hospitalized. Just a week later, he and his dad were in a car crash on the way to his football jamboree. With a concussion that was missed by the care team, he still chose to take the field an hour later—not at his best, but full of heart. He didn’t want to let his team down. His strength, grit, and loyalty made us prouder than any touchdown ever could.
