Join the CompetitionThe competition, lane wants to play against the best always. He’s driven by competing whether it be a football game or a math test his goal is to be the best.
I’d like to say me as his father, but if I’m honestly answering it is probably Coach Hector Julia. When lane came into football he was a running back for 3 years from 4-7 it took 1 practice for Coach Julia to tell lane he was a quarterback and the amount of success lane has had because of that switch is incredible to see.
I’d have to say it was an off the field moment, lane was coming off a 6 touchdown game in an Under Armor league. He was invited onto a small podcast to talk about his performance, and he gave the credit of that game to his wide receivers. As a dad you teach that it’s a team game but to see a 7 year old at the time understand and vocalize it in a moment that’s about him is what it’s all about.
