Langi loves the friendships she's been able to make with basketball. She's so outgoing and kind so she loves meeting new people. She's a fiercely loyal friend so when she's on the court, she is 10 toes down for her teammates and plays aggressive in a way that helps her team succeed.
Langi says that her teammates are her biggest inspirations. Watching them succeed helps her to remember to push herself just like her teammates do. She looks up to the older girls in her basketball club because they exude all the things she wants to be when she's their age.
When Langi made her first 3-pt, we were so proud of her. She is in the gym as much as possible working on her skills. So we know how much it meant to her to do that. That was one of her first goals when she was younger. So for months, she had been working on getting 3-pt shots up and when she did it the first time in a game we saw in her eyes all the emotions. She had worked so hard for that moment. It was the first of many "firsts" in her training and we can't wait to see how far she goes!
