Layla loves all the friends that she makes and being a team leader. She loves pushing her body to the limit and learning life skills that she can apply to all three of the sports that she is involved in. Layla loves learning and improving her skills.
Christian Rohrer, Layla’s Lacrosse coach, inspires her on and off the field. He always pushes her to be the best person she can be in sports and in life. He is encouraging, patient and a wonderful member of our community. He helps out with numerous organizations and sports teams. Her parents also inspire her every day to be kind, determined and a helpful human being.
One journey in Layla’s athletic journey that makes us proud would be when her lacrosse team was down by 4 at half time. She rallied her team, built up the confidence and determination. They came back in the second half and won. She did not let the pressure or the upset of the first half get to her and uplifted her teammates. She was a leader and helped her teammates with plays and positioning.
