He loves playing sports because it affords him the opportunity to escape what has been a difficult childhood; Legion doesn’t have a mom or dad at home. His foster family is doing their best but sports allows Legion a temporary reprieve from what is otherwise a challenging situation.
His grandparents and his incarcerated father are Legion’s biggest supporters. He is very easy to support based on his attitude and effort.
The fact that Legion not only competes, but he gives his all to be first in every drill. His coaches never need to motivate him or make him hustle. Legion is a coach’s dream and every coach comments on Legion’s efforts and his willingness to help others. He is small but he plays like a team leader.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
