Leia loves the challenge of pushing her limits and the beauty of expressing strength through movement. For her, gymnastics is not just sport — it’s discipline, artistry, and self-mastery. She thrives in the structure and feels empowered every time she overcomes fear and lands something new.
Leia is inspired by athletes who combine grace with determination — like Taisiia Onofriichuk, a Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast and world gold medalist. As a young athlete of Ukrainian heritage herself, Leia looks up to Taisiia as proof that dedication, discipline, and pride in your roots can lead to global excellence. She’s also continually uplifted by her coaches, who fuel her belief in what’s possible.
During an Olympic-level masterclass, Leia was surrounded by national team athletes. She felt the pressure, even cried, but refused to be less. She pushed herself beyond her limits and earned the coaches’ admiration. It was the day her inner strength outshone her age.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
