Leonardo lives and breathes for football. Not only does he inspire his fellow teammates with his actions on the field but he roots on his fellow teammates to strive for the best to come out from within. Whether they are leading the scoreboard or trailing in points. Leonardo takes lead and rallies his teammates to pursue victory!
Leonardo's grandfather Miguel Alicea, inspires Leonardo very much with the hardworking ethic his grandfather has instilled in him. He see that hard work and determination will take you far in life and if you see someone in the need of help, Leonardo will go out his way to lend a helping hand, just like his grandfather has set such examples towards him.
When Leonardo was 13 and played football for The Aurora Gators (Pop Warner League) The Gators were one game away to compete in the playoffs. Leonardo was coming back from a Florida trip and made it in time for the game. The locker room exploded in cheers when Leonardo showed up. The Gators won that game with great plays Leonardo had contributed to.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
