He idolizes Bryce Harper, but if you asked him on a deeper level it would be his uncle Patrick. Patrick was a fireman for 30 years but always made it a priority to be there for his nephews no matter what was happening. Patrick has never missed a game and has even been known to show up at the field with the fire truck and his crew in tow to watch a few innings of a game.
The proudest I’ve been was when he didn’t make his seventh grade team. He was cut after tryouts and he was extremely discouraged. But he didn’t give up. He started practicing and was determined to make his team his eighth grade year. Well, the coach saw his dedication and determination in seventh grade and went ahead and added him to the roster. In a time that would have discouraged other players from wanting to continue he used it as motivation to come back stronger and harder.
