What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Liam loves most is the growth - not just the physical wins, but the spiritual, mental, emotional challenges that shape him. Whether it's running track, playing soccer, or doing push-ups in the rain, he loves the fight to become better. He often says, "The game isn't just the field - it's in the discipline, the quiet moments, and who you become when no one's watching." Liam loves to go above and beyond what is required. Liams mindset is- to take risk, to learn from loss, and to never give up

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Liam is deeply inspired by Jesus - he believes Jesus is he greatest example of discipline, humility, and endurance. He also looks up to athletes like David Gogginsi, and pro runners who came from nothing and worked their way up. But what's amazing is that he also inspires himself. He journals his progress, tracks his wins and losses, and pushes himself forward when no one else does. Liam's little sister's and other kids look up to him and positively work on their selves to be like him.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are a few proud moments that happened around same time. First Liam broke a 45 year old record time in 800m race which also titled him as the fastest runner in the Catholic School Board District history. Also was awarded BEST OVERALL ATHELETE OF THE YEAR. Plus he was the Grade 8 VALEDICTORIAN. This year he qualified to race in the track and field OFFSAA WEST meet. But what makes me the proudest is when the crowd chants his name and cheering him on. Liam is so young with infinite potential
