Liam loves being with his friends on and off the field. The coaches dedication to creating a safe learning environment has also kept Liam’s interests.
Liams love for baseball began when he was 4 years old and watched the Sandlot for the first time. He wears glasses and is inspired by Squints.
We were down by 3, top of the 4th. Moral shattered. Liam was the 3rd up to bat. 2 out 1 to go. The rain was pouring so hard that Liam couldn’t see in front of him, so he never swung the bat. He was walked. The first pitch went across the plate, STRIKE, Liam ran to 2nd before the ball made it back to the pitcher. The second pitch went across the plate, BALL, Liam was on 3rd before we knew it. Our dugout was raving! The boys moral was back! We won by 5. I can’t tell this story without tears.
